During the financing period, the property remains under contract while you complete your payments. You are welcome to visit, explore, and camp on the land when permitted by county regulations.
However, you may not live on the property full-time or begin permanent improvements until the land has been paid in full and the deed has been transferred to you. This includes projects such as:
- Building permanent structures
- Drilling a well
- Installing a septic system
- Bringing utilities onto the property
- Making other substantial improvements
This policy protects both buyer and seller, helps prevent liability or ownership complications, and ensures that any work complies with local zoning and land-use regulations.
Once the property has been paid in full, we prepare and submit the deed for county recording. We then confirm the recording and provide you with a copy of your recorded deed.
